Assam Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2025

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma Has launched a Welfare Scheme for female students in the State. The name of this Scheme is Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina, commonly known as the Assam MMNM Scheme, under which the Government of Assam Provides Financial Assistance to Girl Child Students who take Admission to Higher Classes. 

Under the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme, 10 Lakh Girls to be Supported with Financial Grants as Admission incentives for their higher Education. This Scheme was launched with An Initiative to Stop Child Marriage in the State by giving them a Reason to Study for Higher Education. The State Government has Allocated a Budget of Rs. 240 Crore for this Scheme in Assam budget 2024.

• To Empower Girl Child Through Education in the State.
• To Provide Financial Assistance to All the Girls Taking Admission to Higher Classes.
• To Stop Child Marriage in the State.
• To Support 10 Lakh girl Students with this Scheme.

 Benefits of the Assam MMNM Scheme 

• The government of Assam has Directed that 10 Lakh girls be Supported with Financial Grants as Admission incentives for their Higher Education.
• Girls Admitted to Class XI will be given Rs. 10,000 as a Grant.
• Girls Who are taking Admission In Graduation First Year will be Given a Grant of Rs. 12,500. 
• For a girl taking Admitted in Post-graduation will be given 15,000 Rupees.

Guidelines Related Nijut Moina Scheme Assam

• Bank Details should be in the name of the Candidates, Bank details of any other Person will lead to the Rejection of the Form.
• Only female students are Eligible to benefit under this Scheme 
• All the Documents should be In the Name of the Applicant.
• An annual income Certificate will be considered for the Selection of the Candidates.

• Applicants should be permanent residents of Assam.
