What is Assam Nirman Sakhi Portal 2025?

Chief Minister of Assam Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma has launched the Nirman Sakhi Portal for the Welfare of the Construction Workers of the State. The Government of Assam has taken dedicated measures and continues in its efforts to ensure that the workers are not being exploited, welfare benefits are provided to them, and adequate measures are taken for ensuring healthy and safe working conditions. The Government has rolled out many flagship initiatives for the well-being of the construction workers since its inception.

There are More than 7 Lakh Constitution Workers are Registered with Assam Building & Other Construction Workers’ Welfare Board that’s why Government of Assam has formulated various welfare schemes such as Pension benefits, Marriage assistance, Maternity assistance, Death benefits, Skill training, Medical assistance, Educational assistance, Cash awards, Transit-shelters for the upliftment of the construction workers. These Workers will have to Register Themselves on the Nirman Sakhi Portal in order to Get Benefits from the Government.

Assam Nirman Sakhi Registration Eligibility Criteria 

  • Age of the worker shall be between 18 years to 55 years.
  • The worker shall have construction related work experience for a minimum of 90 days in the last 12 Months. 
  • The worker shall not be a member in any other welfare fund.
  • Workers belonging to other states must be currently employed in Assam to register under ABOCWWB.
  • Applicants must hold an Aadhaar card, and the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card for authentication of the applicant.
  • Applicants must be registered with eShram and hold a Unique Account Number (UAN).

Guidelines Related to Assam Nirman Sakhi Portal

  • Membership will be Valid for 2 years from the Date of Labour Card Registration.
  • Workers who are already registered will have to link their Aadhar Card and register again on the Nirman Sakhi Portal.
  • Members shall contribute Rs. 20/- per month to the Board’s Welfare Fund to continue availing benefits under the welfare schemes of the Board.
  • The Applicant shall pay a one-time registration fee of Rs. 25/- through the available online payment facility while applying.
  • The worker shall pay a minimum of 3 months subscription fee after approval of his/her application.

Assam Nirman Sakhi Registration Process

  • Visit the Official Website of the Nirman Sakhi Portal for New worker Registration.
  • Click on the New Registration Button given on the Homepage.
  • Now Enter Your Mobile Number That has been linked with an Aadhar Card.
  • Now Select Your District and Labour office and Enter Aadhar Card Number and Verify with OTP received on the Registered Mobile Number. 
  • Fill the basic details, worker address, bank details, family details, nominee details, employer details and scheme details.
  • You will have to upload a 90 day Construction worker Certificate.
  • Enter eShram UAN No for validation.
  • Upload the necessary documents.
  • Preview the application before submitting and re-check the details.
  • Pay the registration fee of Rs. 25/- rupees online and submit the application.
  • After Successful Verification of the Documents and Details provided by You, Your Registration will be Completed. 
  • You will receive Your Registration Number on Your mobile Number through an SMS.

  • Visit the Official website of the Portal and Click on the Membership Renewal Button given on the Homepage. 
  • Now Enter Your Details and Aadhar Number and Verify it With OTP Received on Your Mobile Number.
  • Update the basic details, worker address, bank details, family details, nominee details, employer details and scheme details.
  • Upload the necessary documents.
  • Preview the application before submitting and re-check the details.
  • Submit the application for renewal.
